Hello there lovely friends!
I’m writing to you from a coffee shop called “The Rock House” in Wilmette, IL (yes it’s true) to let you know that early next week, I’ll be playing shows in Brooklyn, Boston, Marblehead, Burlington, VT, and New Hampshire! I’ve promised myself that if I communicate this to you this evening, I will allow myself to watch the second half of Immortal Beloved (yes, the movie about Beethoven). Not much of a reward you might be thinking, but for some reason, it’s doing it for me right now. 😉
This is my first tour on which I’m bringing both of my girls. I’m really happy that they get to be with me. We will be moving at a slower pace and stopping to smell the roses along the way so please come say hello – we definitely won’t be in a hurry. 🙂
I had such a ball teaching songwriting to high school students at Camp Interlochen this summer that I’m considering offering something special for a small group of participants this Winter (stay tuned!). In the meantime, I have a few one-on-one songwriting spots available for the Fall if you’re interested in starting or finishing some songs and getting helpful & kind feedback (either in person or over Skype). I’d LOVE to hear what you’re working on!
Much love & peace,
Anne
P.S.: There are also shows coming up in Seattle, Virginia and in Illinois in early 2014 including a special show at my hometown venue, EvanstonSPACE, in mid-January so stay tuned for more details on that! xoxo
